Hello! I am Dr Catherine White CPsychol.
I offer a unique perspective as a Health Psychologist, taking a holistic approach, focusing on the link between psychological, biological and social factors which impact your health and wellbeing. I offer one-to-one psychological support and health coaching.
This may include support with management of long-term health conditions, for example, diabetes, chronic pain, or reproductive health. I can support with diet, physical activity or sleep. I can help you to stop smoking and to reduce your alcohol consumption.
Using a combination of therapeutic approaches and health coaching techniques, I help people to gain clarity on their goals and values, develop their confidence, increase their motivation, and improve their sense of physical and mental wellbeing. We will work together to create and maintain long-lasting, positive changes to your health.
I understand the importance of finding the right fit with a therapist, so I always offer a free 15 to 20 minute initial consultation. This gives you the opportunity to understand the way that I work and what therapy will look like. There is no obligation to continue with sessions after this consultation. If you would like to arrange ongoing sessions however, we would then discuss the days/times which would suit you best for us to meet on a regular basis.
