Welcome to Better Days

Behavioural Science & Health Psychology Consultancy

Behaviour change is not an afterthought, it is the foundation of lasting impact. At Better Days Psychology, I bring together rigorous health psychology expertise, real-world research experience, and a deep understanding of the systems that shape human behaviour to help organisations design strategies and interventions that actually work.

Whether you are a healthcare agency seeking to improve patient engagement, a health insurance organisation looking to embed behavioural science within your policies, an NHS organisation navigating complex implementation challenges, a biotech company aiming to embed health psychology into your pipeline, or a third-sector body working to translate evidence into practice - I am here to help.

My Areas of Expertise

Health Psychology & Behaviour Change

I apply established frameworks, including COM-B, the Behaviour Change Wheel, and Motivational Interviewing, to map behavioural influences and design targeted, evidence-based strategies. My research and consultancy has spanned alcohol and drug policy, cervical cancer screening, infant feeding, chronic condition management, and healthcare professional engagement.

Research & Evaluation

I have designed and led mixed-methods research projects from inception to publication, including systematic reviews, qualitative interviews and focus groups, large-scale survey design and analysis, and thematic analysis. I am experienced in working with vulnerable and hard-to-reach populations, co-producing research with communities, and translating complex findings into accessible, actionable outputs.

Policy & Practice Translation

I have coordinated national stakeholder groups, presented evidence to government ministers and parliamentary committees, and developed guidance and resources for implementation across NHS, local authority, and third-sector settings. I understand how policy is shaped and how evidence must be framed to influence it.

Innovation & Co-Production

I am the creator of See My Health, an award-winning cervical cancer screening toolkit developed in co-production with people with intellectual disabilities. The toolkit won the University of Stirling's Entrepreneurial Quest 2025 and launches in February 2026. This project reflects my commitment to inclusive, person-centred approaches to health improvement.
